The view and breakfast are outstanding, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The room is small with a private bathroom, but the hallway opens directly into the lounge without privacy doors, so having to dress each time to use the bathroom is inconvenient. I’d note that in the description.

If you love peace, nature, and art, want to try homemade bread with marmalade from Amenia and a varied breakfast, you’ll feel right at home with the helpful hosts around Tuscany. On request, Amenia also cooks in the evening. Her husband Antonio tends the garden and displays some of his paintings in the house. I had trouble entering the property because the driveway isn’t paved.

The sense of welcome made me feel more like a guest than a customer. The owners were very courteous and attentive; at breakfast, the lady went above and beyond with many special items, including Neapolitan coffee brewed in a special pot. I have to say, I felt pampered.
