The countryside vibe was nice, but the place was absolutely bleak. No staff at all, everything was empty. There was no taxi service; you had to take a bus if you didn't have a car, and then you had to walk 1 km in complete darkness. There was no restaurant, no water bottle, and the TV didn't work. Absolutely avoid this place if you don't have a car and are arriving at night.

Breakfast was good, though it had to be pre‑ordered and wasn’t normally served on weekends. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and we got a portion served on a plate for 90 kr – quite generous. The only downside was that there were no eggs, which I don’t like.

There was no hair dryer and the staff were unapproachable.

Close to Kalundborg, but the mattress was too soft and the duvet too thick, so I slept poorly.
