It was cheap, the staff were friendly, and the toilet and bath were separate. The futon had a damp smell, and the fact that ID was required at check‑in wasn’t mentioned beforehand.

The location was close to the station and a convenience store, so a room of this size at this price feels very good value. No staff were on site, but chat and phone support were quick and there were no major issues. A small suggestion: a towel rack in the washroom and bath would be nice, and having only one trash bin was a bit inconvenient.

The place was dirty and smelled like cigarettes.

The rooms were tidy and clean with plenty of space. I haven’t seen a room this large in Japan, so I recommend it.

The location was fine, but I’d heard from reviews that people confused the entrance with a nearby coin‑laundry, so a clearer sign would help. I stayed two nights in a third‑floor room; when I opened the window for ventilation, I occasionally made eye contact with someone across the street—this is a residential area, so it’s understandable, but a privacy screen would be appreciated. The interior was clean, but the TV was hard to see; the screen’s color was a bit off and the distance made it difficult. The first‑floor laundry was used from early morning to late night by many people, so waiting for the wash to finish was tough, especially at night, and I had to shuttle between the room and laundry. I didn’t know how to use it, so a foreign guest helped me. I apologize for the TV comment, but it was the only issue I mentioned. When checking in at the entrance laundry, the crowd of regular laundry users and the amount of luggage made it confusing to show ID and operate the machine.
