The King Room is on an upper floor that can be reached only by stairs. It sleeps two guests and includes a desk, flat‑screen TV, free Wi‑Fi, a wardrobe or closet, a clothes rack, towels, linens, a socket beside the bed, heating, a fan, an electric kettle, a tea/coffee maker, an iron with ironing facilities, and carpeted flooring. The private bathroom features a bathtub or shower, a toilet, a hairdryer, free toiletries, and additional sockets and a clothes rack.

The King Room with Roll‑In Shower – Disability Access includes a roll‑in shower and other accessible fittings. A large double bed provides sleeping space for two, complemented by a wardrobe, carpeted floor and heating. Entertainment amenities feature a flat‑screen TV and a tea and coffee maker, while a private bathroom also contains a hairdryer.
“Excellent staff and food, clean and comfortable rooms”
Mostly the staff were great, and the food was excellent. The location was the only drawback.
The staff were helpful and very pleasant, and breakfast was excellent. However, the food in the main restaurant was poor—lukewarm and dry, with chips burned. I gave feedback to the staff, who apologized, informed the chef, and reimbursed me. The rooms were comfortable, though some remedial work was required.

The location suited my needs. The cold water from the taps was actually hot; I had to run it for 10 minutes to get anywhere near cold. The room lock was difficult to lock and open, and the room stayed warm even with the window open.
