The young woman who welcomed us was very friendly and offered us tea, but the room disappointed us and didn’t match the reviews. There was no whirlpool bath as advertised, no lake view, and we were far from the town. The cleanliness of our room and the available kitchen were questionable. For their part, it was raining heavily and cold, so the rooms were very damp. We left after one night even though we had booked three. In the village we found a very comfortable and clean place of incomparable quality, though twice as expensive, but with breakfast included, which ultimately costs the same. With sunshine, our experience might not have been as negative, but I can’t understand why there are so many positive reviews.

L’hôte est très agréable et serviable! Superbe vue sur les montagnes et divers plantations. Le calme règne à au Rashini cottage. Les couvertures sont au top, mais la pièce est froide, l’air passe par les fenêtres. L’espace commun mériterait un peu plus d’équipement de base

The location offered a fantastic view of the lake and surrounding hillside. The family was lovely and very welcoming, offering us tea and biscuits on arrival and again in the morning. They helped with our bags and seemed genuinely concerned about our stay, welcoming feedback. The room was a good size, the bathroom had hot water and all essentials, and it was hygienically clean; they even bought new pillows just for us. Not everything listed was included: we had no air‑conditioning, though the night temperature was cool, and we weren’t given towels, though it’s unclear if that’s an extra charge. We had our own towels, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, the price is very cheap and reasonable for what you get.
