“今回北海道で4泊しました。中でも一番楽しみにしていた‟森つべつ”さんでした。”
The breakfast, dinner, and location were excellent. The futon was a bit dirty (maybe we made it so); perhaps a new bed would help.

The place is right in nature, and the lobby view is great. When I went to pick something up from the car in the evening, I spotted deer just behind the window, and the same happened in the dining room. The outdoor baths were especially pleasant, and you can pay for a one‑hour family bath. If you have tattoos, the size might prevent you from using the baths, so ask reception whether it’s allowed.

The onsen was good, but the dinner was too heavy, lacked fresh ingredients, and the sequence of dishes felt chaotic without a clear flavor progression. At breakfast, some vegetables like broccoli were frozen, and the portions didn’t match the quality.

The dinner and the bocca were excellent, and the lobby was very pretty. The room and shower were old; the shower had a weak flow, and it was hard to keep the water temperature steady between hot and cold. The bed was very uncomfortable, and we wanted a private onsen but couldn’t book one.
