Our host, Chanuka, was very welcoming and accommodated us staying longer than expected while we planned our onward journey. The views were fabulous. The only downside was the lack of a water filter; the host only provided small plastic bottles of water, which isn’t very sustainable.

The hosts were very welcoming and the Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. The view of the whole city and the lake was exceptional, and the beds were very comfortable. Like most rooms in Sri Lanka, the curtains do not block light.
The house is very pretty and the rooms are tastefully decorated. It was very clean. The shower is perfect! The staff are very friendly and at breakfast they serve Egg Hoppers – super tasty and beautifully prepared.

A really lovely room with a beautiful view across Kandy’s lake. Clean and spacious, plus a shared sitting room with another beautiful view. Good breakfasts are available, and the hosts are attentive. Just be aware that 36 B&B is quite far up the hill to the south of Kandy, so you’ll need to take tuk‑tuks into town. Not an issue, especially with the Pick Me app, but good to know.

Petit déjeuner top ! Chambre très belle et spacieuse. Les deux hôtes très gentils et très discrets. Belle vue sur la ville. Un peu difficile à trouver mais l’hôte a été joignable facilement et a guidé notre chauffeur
