Where do I start. First of all, it’s dirty. Also, the path to the hotel is a muddy field, and when it rains there’s nothing to rinse your shoes, so you arrive at the pool with muddy feet. No privacy, no quiet spot. A real train‑station‑like hall and very noisy. The 8‑bed dorm is 15 m²; you bump into each other as soon as you get out of bed at the same time. The bathroom is open, so there’s no privacy and no door, like the common ones. In the morning, there are beer and other drinks around the pool. Archi is disgusting! I left for another one two steps away and it’s really TOP! Calm, many quiet little corners, clean and quiet. White Elephant is not what it’s said, even if we’re young. Tout

I was stuck with a broken backpack just before heading out on a 3‑day trip to Nong Khiaw, and the owner kindly lent me his own backpack, making the stay unforgettable.
