The location is incredible and the scenery is fantastic. “La Pieve” is the agriturismo of the property, a little further from the real Palazzo Massaini. The staff are very friendly young people, the room is nice and very clean. Unfortunately it doesn’t match other 5‑star places in the area and isn’t yet the level it presents on social media. The staff are very kind but somewhat unprepared; I had to contact them for information, the number listed on Booking was not the property’s but a private one, and they struggled to speak to us and give us details. The same happened with the rooms: they’re cute and super clean, but lack a TV and attention to detail; the abat‑jours were poorly fixed to the wall, many exposed electrical cables, etc. Breakfast was listed as “excellent” and, although it had some top‑quality items, there was really little choice and no one told us what we could ask the kitchen for extra items, hot drinks, etc.; we only figured it out by watching other guests order. The pool had a beautiful view and was fairly spacious but was super cold and there was no bar service or way to have something while there unless we brought it from our room. It’s a beautiful place with endless potential, but it costs as much as it could be and isn’t yet, so the value for money is poor.

מקום מהמם, ארוחת בוקר מהממת, נקי ונוח. כשהגענו לא היה אף אחד במלון עצמו והבחורה בקבלה היתה מאוד חמודה, אבל לא ידעה להכווין לחדר כך שהסתובבנו חצי שעה וחיפשנו אותו. ניסתה לעזור בשיחת וידאו אך ללא הצלחה

The location is perfect, between Pienza, Montalcino and Montepulciano, all close drives, and the sunsets are very beautiful. A restaurant and a larger pool would have been nice.
