“Apart from the front desk guy, the entire stay was awesome”
I liked how my room was laid out and the morning cleaning ladies were friendly, greeting us with “Good morning!” as we passed. At the front desk, a middle‑aged man with reddish hair asked for my ID; I explained I only had a photo because my ID was stolen, but he laughed as if he didn’t believe me. His attitude was rude and made the whole exchange awkward and uncomfortable. He had also made me feel foolish last time when I didn’t know my car’s make, even though I told him it was a Lincoln. It seemed he didn’t care about good customer service.
The staff were friendly and pleasant, but the whole place needs a major refresh. I travel a lot and would pay more for a higher comfort level, but this was just a short overnight stay while passing through town. I was on the 4th floor and the hallway carpet was the grubbiest I’ve ever seen; the room carpet was also rough. The breakfast tables (I was among the first there) didn’t look wiped from the previous day or from earlier guests—none were clean. The hotel felt dated and generally dirty. I know you get what you pay for, but I expected much better from Baymont.
The location was great.
“Very pleased with this hotel and I will be back.”
I love the spot—right where I needed to be. The only hiccup was the toilet flushing a bit, but that sorted itself out quickly.
The beds were super comfy and getting in was a breeze. Oddly, I found a pair of socks behind the dresser that weren’t mine.
