The hotel has a great historical vibe and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and well-equipped, though it was right next to the check‑in desk, so I could hear a lot of people coming and going. Apart from that, the room itself was fine.

The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the location is nice—close to downtown but far enough to stay quiet. However, there is no elevator, no hooks or holders for towels near the shower, bathtub, or sink, no toilet paper dispenser (just a shelf), and the shower would benefit from a ledge or shelf to keep personal items instead of having them on the floor. The bathtub has the same issue.

The room was small but cozy and quiet, and I didn’t have breakfast. The location was a bit farther than I’d liked, but it would have cost more, so it was a trade‑off. The building has steps on the lower floor and no elevator; I’m not sure if that was disclosed, but I would still have stayed here.
