I stayed in a nice place with a cozy room and friendly common areas, but the door locks on both the room and the main entrance were sometimes hard to open. Still, it was a very pleasant experience overall.

The room was full of crabs.

It wasn’t clear from the start that key pickup would be at a different building than the accommodation.

The location was good, but the key collection happened at a different spot than the lodging, making it hard to open both the main gate and the apartment door and costing us about an hour. Later, after we reached the beach, we had to return to the apartment to return the room key—which we couldn’t lock—because we were mistakenly given the key to another room, wasting even more time on our only day in Lagos. We understood that mistakes happen, but asked if they could compensate us for the inconvenience and lost time, and received no response. Also, although breakfast was listed as included, it was far from dreamy: basic and delivered in a paper bag in the kitchen later than promised.
