Guest relations (Shrouk) were wonderful, the location is great, and the animation team is clever. I would like to thank Shorouk for her quick and positive intervention in resolving all the issues I faced. She was the only person I encountered at the hotel who took responsibility for solving problems instead of passing them on to someone else. The issues I experienced were as follows: Overcrowded facilities: Due to guests coming from the two hotels, Palma and Mirette, it was difficult to find an available sunbed, and the restaurants were extremely crowded. Missing towel: My towel was stolen, and we spent two days looking for it. As a result, I had to spend those two days without a towel, even though the area where I had been sitting was covered by security cameras. Room phone and control panel malfunction: Both the internal phone and the room control panel were out of order for an entire day. I reported the issue several times, but nothing was done until I eventually lost my patience and raised my voice at the reception. A supervisor then came to speak with me, but instead of addressing my complaint professionally, he made me feel that I was complaining about something unimportant, simply because it happened at night. In conclusion, if it hadn't been for Shorouk's positive attitude, quick response, and genuine willingness to help, I would have given the hotel a much lower rating. She deserves recognition for her professionalism and customer service.

The rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed, and it was pretty clean. The beach is very pretty and our room with the sea view was also very nice. The food was very low in quality, with very few meat options; almost everything was tasteless and there were days when we were hungry. People leave stuff on beach beds in the evening, so it is very difficult to find free chairs in the morning. There are a lot of people in the hotel, so when it’s time for meals, you always have to wait in line to get food, which I find very annoying. There are not many beach bars on the beach. The beverages included in all‑inclusive are also not great in quality. If you want to drink something nicer, you have to pay for it. And be prepared to be approached constantly by sellers (spa, trips, parties…)

We stayed at Sunny Days El Palacio and it was a great experience overall. The place is spacious, clean, and well‑maintained, and the staff were polite, attentive, and welcoming the whole time. Our room felt fresh and brand new in a newly renovated building, and the view was breathtaking, making us feel very comfortable. We liked the entertainment program and evening shows; the animation team kept things lively and fun. The food was good with a nice variety, and even though the main dining hall could get crowded, it didn’t ruin the experience. A special moment was when my boyfriend’s birthday was celebrated—after a day trip we returned to find a birthday cake left by the staff as a surprise, a thoughtful gesture that made the trip memorable. The only real issue was the lack of available sun loungers at the beach and pool. Guests often wake up early to “reserve” chairs with towels, scarves, and personal items, then leave for hours or breakfast, which left us searching for a spot. On one day I saw a chair marked reserved at 8:00 AM and it remained empty at 11:00 AM, three hours later, preventing others from enjoying the sun. The hotel has a rule against this, but it wasn’t enforced. Sunny Days El Palacio is a solid hotel with great staff and facilities, but I hope management will enforce the beach chair reservation rule so future guests can have a stress‑free stay.
