The spot was spot‑on for the money – the location was convenient and the facilities lived up to the price. Breakfast, though, felt like a bit of a let‑down; we only got two slices of bread and the same old tea, which seemed like a cheap trick. Also, there weren’t enough kettles for guests who like to bring their own water in the morning.

Aurora gave us a super warm welcome and the hotel sits in a quiet, well‑located area. Unfortunately the bathroom was dusty – both the shower and the sink looked neglected – and we were put in the wrong room, ending up with two single beds instead of the double we’d booked. To top it off, the Wi‑Fi was practically unusable.

Very comfortable and within walking distance of everything you might need. I loved watching the garden animals and catching the morning sun, and the shower, mattresses, and overall quiet made it a great retreat.
