The accommodation is clean. The roof terrace offers a nice view and invites you to linger. If you’re just looking for a clean room and can ignore the rest, this place still works. It could be so much better. The hotel offers the best conditions to make the stay pleasant, but you can also feel what’s widespread in many parts of Aguas Calientes – the owner seems fed up with tourism and quite unambitious. She never gave us the impression that she could do anything for us as a host. On the contrary, after every little thing you have to ask actively. Everything is counted precisely for two people: a small roll of toilet paper, a mini piece of butter for breakfast, two teaspoons of jam, four thin slices of avocado, etc. The small “buffet” was not restocked, so as a guest you can’t “eat too much.” The photos of breakfast don’t match reality. When we asked for new towels, she rolled her eyes. The bathroom had a strong drain smell. Overall, the impression is stinginess. The roof terrace is actually great. However, sandflies have taken up residence in the flower pots. The overall impression differs significantly from all other experiences in Peru. Too bad, but maybe the staff will improve eventually. The structural conditions are there.
