“Luxury Small boutique hotel few rooms very special quiet, loved it”
The hotel's stunning views and pristine cleanliness were a highlight, but getting in and out of the property was a bit of a hassle due to the gate access. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was comfortable with crisp linen and a great bed. However, communication between the hotel and guests could be improved.
We were blown away by the Doolhof's beautiful decor and surroundings, but unfortunately, the attention to detail fell short. We had to ask for essentials like loo rolls, and the bed wasn't made one day. However, the friendly staff, particularly Gaynor, made a big difference when she was around. We're hoping it was just a one-off and would love to return to this beautiful place.
“Traumhaft schönes Anwesen in unvergleichlicher Natur”
This place is a real gem, nestled in a secluded and peaceful area that's perfect for relaxation. We were a bit disappointed this time around, though - the new management just didn't have the same charm as the old guesthouse. Everything else was great, but the new pricing for breakfast and accommodation was a bit of a shock.
“Prachtig”
The location is perfect for a hike, and there's a great lunch restaurant right next door. However, the room was a bit dusty, especially when the wind was blowing through the open thatched roof. The shower was a bit of a romantic touch, but not very practical.
“Not satisfactory and expensive for what we got!”
We loved the location, but our stay was marred by some major issues. Wine was only served by the bottle, which seemed strange given our surroundings. The breakfast was cold, and our room wasn't cleaned one day. To top it off, we were presented with an incorrect bill at checkout. It's clear that the hotel needs to sort out its management and attention to detail.
