Breakfast was decent, but I always avoid rooms with carpet.
I wasn’t impressed with the service I received when checking out.
“Hurtin albertin for certain”
The place was in bad shape, and the middle‑aged front‑desk guy was unhelpful; he handed me two keys, but one kept failing to work, so my girlfriend got locked outside the hotel at 4:00 a.m. and could only get back in with a lot of trouble. It felt dangerous. I didn’t like how she was locked out at 4:00 a.m. without a way to reenter; if someone hadn’t come up for a cigarette half an hour later, she would have been stuck outside all night. When we mentioned it, the staff said he’d fixed the key, but the same problem happened again.
“Had a great stay”
The staff were great and the place is very nice; I can’t think of anything negative.
The bed was very comfortable and the location was great, right off the highway, yet the shower head was extremely low, the continental breakfast was disappointing, and the breakfast area wasn’t kept clean.
