We stayed in room 7 at the back of the pub; the room was excellent, breakfast was delicious, and the location was great. The only issue was that the bathroom sink was too small and kept hitting my head on the shelf above, but I believe they have fixed it now.

The food was good and the rooms stayed clean, but the bar shut down at 10pm.

The bar and the location were nice, yet the bed and pillow were hard and the bathroom door was low.

The breakfast was generally poor, feeling like a budget hotel, with the chef clearly lacking the skill to serve scrambled eggs with a half rasher of streaky bacon; there was no self‑service for breakfast items, and when I ordered through the waiter I received the wrong dish. The evening meal had tiny portions, and the fish & chips were one of the worst I've had, so we only ate once that evening; the experience was terrible when I tried to pay the room bill on my credit card.
