I liked the secluded setting, and the staff did a great job serving guests arriving and departing from the resort. They were always helpful and friendly, greeting us with a smile. From the moment we were heading to the resort, they reminded us that we would be picked up at the port. Breakfast was also excellent, with tasty food. The only thing that slightly bothered us were the flies; we understand it’s unavoidable, but perhaps something could be done to reduce or prevent them from getting into the food.

The location was great, the premises were kept clean, and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. However, the music at the bar and dining area was very loud, pumping, and bass‑heavy, so we had to eat as far away as possible. The same loud, bassy, pumping music also leaked into the room and disrupted our sleep, though the staff did lower it when we asked.

The hotel sits on Baigad Lagoon Beach, one of Bantayan’s must‑visit spots; crowds come between 10am‑5pm, but outside those hours we had the resort almost to ourselves. The property is beautiful with solid amenities, and the food was excellent (we tried some off‑site dishes but ended up eating at the resort again). They also offer tours, motorcycle, kayak, and jetski rentals. The only downside is that you need a free service boat to reach the resort, which isn’t available at low tide, though they do provide free motorcycle rides if you need to leave during low tide.
