I spent three nights in a small bungalow on the property, which was huge, had a super comfy bed, and everything else I needed. A little stove is ready to be fired up quickly on request, and there’s a small sink with cold water in the room. Wi‑Fi worked pretty well both in the room and in the main house. Showering with hot water and western toilets are in a separate tiny building on the grounds. Everything stayed very clean and tidy during my stay. The simple breakfast was more than enough for a good start to the day. I was there in mid‑June, so unlike the high season there was no dinner offered at the guesthouse, but a few restaurants are in town. The guesthouse sits right in the village centre, close to the main road. It’s about a twenty‑minute walk to the lake and the harbour for boat trips. The owner is very friendly and hospitable if you can accept the rough exterior. Whenever I was in the common room, fresh tea or fresh, well‑sweetened Yak‑Yoghurt was offered, and we chatted a lot despite the language barrier. There’s also the option to have a taxi pick you up from Moron or drop you back there. I’ll definitely book here again.
