“Construction site with no facilities, and no warning”
It’s close to the ski slopes by car, but the place was a construction site with all facilities closed—no restaurant, gym, hot tub, or pool. There was no notice that a major refurbishment was underway, and dust and plaster covered the floors of rooms and hallways. Painters were on Presidents Day. The “Continental” breakfast was offered, but there were no tables to sit at. The staff were busy with a development project, not running a hotel.
