The location was a pleasant walk from the train station and close to many fun spots, on a quiet street with a lovely building. The stairs to the very top floor were a bit of a challenge with a suitcase, but that wasn’t their fault; the AC didn’t work, but it was an extremely hot period, so again not their fault.

The stay was marred by the hotel not honoring the stay‑tax amount; mistakes can happen, but after two months without a refund it feels disrespectful.

The location was great, the room and bathroom were comfortable and upgraded, and breakfast was excellent; the staff were very pleasant throughout. A mini fridge for groceries would have been nice, and we were lucky to have a ground‑floor room; we’re not sure how we’d handle the steep stairs if we’d been on a higher floor.
