The assistant manager Jaswant Singh made the stay flawless; he’s a genuinely kind and sweet man who treats guests like family. The hotel is housed in an old historic building, so a bit of stair climbing is required, but Jaswant happily carried my large suitcase. Breakfast was simple but nice, and I loved the coffee flavor. I dined there twice, and the food was clean, cheap, and suitable even for a weak stomach. On the first day I hit my head three times on very low outer doors, but after that I was fine—this is due to the building’s old heritage design. Otherwise everything was good.

I had a wonderful stay at Veda Heritage Haveli in Udaipur. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to explore the main attractions of the city. It’s a great choice if you want to experience Udaipur while staying in a traditional and charming heritage property. What really made my stay special was the hospitality. The owner, Sanjit Burman, was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure everything is comfortable. A special mention also goes to Jaswanth Singh and the rest of the staff. Jaswanth was attentive, polite, and always ready to help whenever needed. The entire team made me feel more like a guest in someone’s home rather than just another hotel customer. The combination of the great location, heritage atmosphere, and genuinely warm hospitality makes Veda Heritage Haveli a memorable place to stay in Udaipur. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city, and I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly, the location was good, the rooms were spacious, and breakfast was decent. The entrance to the hotel is on a street with a lot of trash, and at 12 am a pneumatic hammer was pounding nearby the hotel.

The location is super central, perhaps too central because the area is very busy. Inside the haveli, however, it felt like a calming oasis and my host Sanjit was super hospitable and kind. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The AC was great as well. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. I would recommend staying here. The only downside is that the area is as busy as it gets in Udaipur.
