The hostel’s spot was spot‑on, and the front desk crew were super friendly—really helpful and kind. Breakfast was a full spread and tasty. On the downside, the place itself is cramped; I shared a dorm with eight other women, and the room smelled strong and was a mess. The bathroom was filthy, with water everywhere, and the staff were constantly chatting with guests, so I barely had any privacy. The tiny kitchen was also dirty.

The staff were very friendly and the room was functional and spacious enough. We even had a nice balcony, and the spot is close to Ipanema Beach. Breakfast was solid. The only downside was the noisy bar right across the street that stayed loud until the early morning.

The location is great, but the service was awful—staff were unhelpful, the overall service was bad, and the place felt disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff are super friendly and everything is kept very clean. It’s a practical hostel if that’s what you’re after.
