Breakfast was very good, the location was convenient, and the staff were perfect, but we didn’t like the pillows at all—they were too firm.

Did not get the room a I asked for. Was over priced. Lighting in the bathroom was very dim. No ice machine on 1st floor. Key card did not work at back patio area and locked us out. The fire pit did not work. Hotel manager was not helpful and rude. Won't stay at another Holiday Inn express again. The continental breakfast. Not much else

I love how close the hotel is to where my son lives.

The room felt really cozy, especially with the firm foam pillows I liked; the pool was a nice touch. I have to shout out the staff for an impressive customer service moment: my white hair towel had been mistakenly taken by the laundry as a washcloth or hand towel, and I was convinced it was gone forever. I stopped by the front desk to see if they could retrieve it, and within minutes they had it back, which made me very happy. On the downside, there was some confusion about my reservation for the first night, and I'm still waiting to see if that gets sorted out.

It’s a nice place, though a bit pricey for upstate NY.
