The room and décor were colorful and interesting, the bed and sheets were clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the bathroom was tidy, so overall we felt comfortable and had a happy experience. However, one blind was broken and there was a bit of mold on the windows. A shower partition was broken, though we didn’t use that side. There was some noise in the middle of the night on a Saturday, but I understand it’s in the middle of town, which I didn’t check when booking. I was disappointed there was no honey for the kids at breakfast (porridge) and I couldn’t find any forks, perhaps they were already in use by other guests. Still, it was a good experience overall.

The room was spacious and the location was spot on, right next to cafés and shops. The self‑service breakfast was included, but the food prep area wasn’t as tidy as we’d hoped, and we couldn’t eat the cereal because there were no bowls. Getting into the accommodation required climbing several flights of stairs, so it isn’t suitable for disabled or physically challenged guests.

The décor was great, the room was huge, and we enjoyed the self‑serve breakfast. However, our room faced the street and the loud drunk patrons on Friday and Saturday nights were very audible. The mattress on the queen bed was far too soft, so we slept on the three single beds instead.

It’s a central spot with car parking. The hotel is old and basic, but every room was cute and quirky, and the shared common areas were charming. They’ve put a lot of effort into giving it personality, though some broken bits and pieces detracted.
