I was told ahead that there would be no breakfast because of a holiday and city festival, and alternative options were offered. Whenever I had questions and the front desk was empty, polite staff were always reachable by phone. The rooms were functional and spotlessly clean. It was a bit hot this summer, and there was no air conditioning—perhaps a fan would have helped. Parking in the underground garage was convenient and included in the room price. We received the room keys with a code upon arrival, which worked perfectly. For one or two nights, a clean and decent place. Everything was as expected, but a small issue: the bathroom overhead light turns on when you enter and then turns off again after you leave, which is very uncomfortable at night if you need to use the bathroom—you’d rather turn it on yourself. Only a very narrow window could be opened in the room, which was terrible in the heat, though it’s not always that extreme.
