The staff are very kind, and there’s a transport service that’s handy if you’re carrying luggage. There aren’t enough outlets, nor USB ports. The surroundings seem quiet, but I felt a bit uneasy walking alone at night in those narrow streets. Breakfast is fine, but it doesn’t have as much variety as other resort hotels.

The spot above Lipari is gorgeous and you can stroll into town with ease, plus the free pick‑up from the port was a great touch. The place was tidy and the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was lovely. The only downside was that the air‑con made a lot of noise.
