The proprietress’s hospitality and attentiveness were wonderful. We chatted a lot about sightseeing, and the directions from the station were clear.

Every morning the breakfast was tasty! The cozy, home‑like vibe made me happy and comfortable. Chikayō‑san, the hostess, also kept the place welcoming with plenty of chat. I felt I had to buy my own water from the store, even though I never asked if water was supplied. Some days I was thirsty and had to wait until the next day to buy water.

場所が分かりやすくて良かったです。周りの家が重要文化財で見応えあり、散歩するにも良いです。細い道を車がわりと通るのでそれは気をつけないといけませんが。女性限定で、安心感があり、おかみさんがすごく親しみやすくて、楽しくて、一緒に泊まった方々とも皆んなで、初めて会ったのに話がはずみ、ずーっと話していました。2泊3日で、2日目に1人で一日行動して、すっごく疲れたけど宿に帰ったら、おかえりーって迎えてもらって、家に帰ってきたようなほっとした感じですごくありがたかったです。近くに美味しい地ビールの店があって、そこもとても良かったです。今回は朝食なしプランだったけど、おかみさん手作りの朝食はめちゃくちゃ美味しそうで、次は絶対朝食ありプランにします。. 冷房がちょっときき過ぎだったかなーくらいです。たぶん頼めば毛布か何かを貸してもらえたかもしれません。

The host and my roommates were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse sits in a beautiful Osaka village, a 7‑minute walk from the train station, and it’s not far from the city with train and bus connections. The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant, and I’d definitely return for the atmosphere.
