The living area was large and the fire pit was big. The beds, doors and floor in the attic were squeaky.

A pleasant, quiet stay with a very kind and helpful host. The outdoor seating, grill option and kids’ playground are big pluses. The interior is set up in a more traditional style. The bathroom is small, but sufficient for a normal stay.

A calm environment, plenty of outdoor gear in the cottage, a large plot with facilities even for little kids, and a nice chill in the cottage despite high outdoor temperatures. All day in the courtyard the shade from the trees kept it pleasant. The morning in the kids’ zone was cool. A bit of a problem: the tableware was not well washed (visible greasy spots from previous use of cups), probably from earlier guests. In the room we slept in the mattress was sagging, but tolerable for a cottage stay.
