How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location and breakfast were perfect, but the dinner food was too expensive and practically nothing was left after the buffet opened for 30 minutes. Our room faced the back. If staff want to smoke a joint after work, they can do it elsewhere so the smell doesn’t drift into the rooms.

The hotel sits nicely in the middle of the Harz, and the view lives up to the name. The room was large, practical, and nicely furnished. Because it’s a bit out of town, I was glad I could add the evening buffet. A small selection of dishes but all you can eat and unlimited table drinks for a total of 27 € was fine. Sauna and whirlpool were included, everything was clean and nothing to complain about. Breakfast was also good. For me, a traveling motorcyclist, everything was very suitable. The building still feels a bit like the GDR era despite several renovations, and there were ants in the room.

Super nice staff, comfortable beds, and a clean room. It was a bit hard to find – outside the town – and the evening buffet was totally off for us, a 2.0 cafeteria.
