“A little tired in terms of decor but comfortable”
Nice spot, reasonable price, and quiet. The staff were very friendly. The bedding, however, was of lower quality.

The staff were great, rooms were comfortable, and the location was wonderful.

It felt classic, warm, and friendly.

The breakfast was enjoyable, though it would have been nice to see yogurt and fruit on the menu like in other hotels. Nothing else to note.

The place is well situated, just a walk from the door. Of the four meals we had, there were inconsistencies between what was advertised and what arrived. The first evening meal’s mains were good, but breakfast one had no toast, and the muffin wasn’t toasted. Evening meal two’s mains were fine except no gravy for the Wellington. We ordered a dessert but after 40 minutes and three reminders we gave up. Breakfast two lacked granola or yogurt, the self‑serve juice was missing, the full Scottish breakfast didn’t include a second egg or beans, and we had to ask again for toast.
