We booked two rooms on different floors, but the hosts moved us to the first floor right away because we had kids. The rooms were well equipped, had AC, comfy beds, and the house was clean and tidy. The only hiccup was one room that faced the stairwell, no street window, and the corridor had a motion‑activated lamp that flickered at 2 a.m., waking us up. A tighter roller blind could fix that.

The price was solid and the spot is right on the main street. Clean overall, and the host was easy to reach. The toilet was adapted for Turkish guests and there was a spare fridge in the corridor. But we hit a few snags: the kettle had limescale, the water wasn’t in a bottle, towels weren’t changed for four days, only one roll of toilet paper for two people, liquid soap never ran, and garbage wasn’t taken out. Bring your own extras and take out the trash.
