The staff are helpful and courteous, but the hotel sits right next to a church whose bells ring every 30 minutes, which is quite loud.

The staff were very friendly, but the room ended up in the wrong part of the building for us because we prefer a quieter area away from traffic; the free public transport map was helpful, and overall everything else was fine—thanks.

The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with; the breakfast was very nice to start the day. Nothing else would keep me from staying again or recommending it to others.

The suite was super comfortable, but it was a shame the restaurant closed at night.

Quaintissimo!! The Adler Hotel sits in an unparalleled spot. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, the breakfast is fine, and the staff are charming and friendly. It’s the perfect complement to the serene and beautiful Appenzell, the real Switzerland. The only downside was that we had to leave.
