Finding the house was a breeze, and there was plenty of secure parking behind it. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and a huge shower. Stella, the host, was wonderful—friendly and helpful. The property sits outside the main town, about a 30‑minute walk if you go straight on the main road, which is safe but not particularly pleasant. A few restaurants are near the B&B, so you don’t have to trek back into town in the evening. We enjoyed a great night at Family Day pizzeria, just a 10‑minute walk away. The only issue was the steep descent into the back car park; the car bottomed out at the top and the bicycle rack was at the bottom. There is alternative street parking at the front. It’s very quiet, and Stella mentioned there were surveillance cameras. If we hadn’t had our bikes, we probably would have parked there.
