The pool was a highlight, but the place had its quirks. Lots of stairs to climb, and insects were everywhere—doors had gaps letting them in. The furniture looked worn, and the blankets had a bad smell; even the laundry smelled off. I let the staff know, but the issues stayed.

Definitely the best lodge I've been to. Marcelo, the manager, is a fantastic guy. The food was top‑notch, rooms were clean and the AC actually worked. If you need a guide, Junior is there—he's a real pro. Thanks to everyone at the lodge.
