“Very comfortable and staff super friendly.”
The place looks gorgeous, but parking is a hassle—there’s a lot, yet it doesn’t work for every car type, and the WiFi was awful.

We stayed with two kids for four nights, picking the hotel mainly for its pool, which was fine, but the price‑to‑quality ratio fell short. Breakfast was included yet terribly basic with far too few options. The rooms shown online didn’t match what we got, and the restaurant food was disappointing, especially since Oaxaca offers far better and cheaper choices. The double beds in our junior suite were far too small, so “Luxury residence” really didn’t apply. A shame.

The hotel is stunning, staff are super friendly—Miriam at reception went above and beyond—breakfast is delicious, the pool is nice, rooms are spotless and the shower is amazing. The only downside is the distance from downtown; however, the hotel compensated with free daytime transport, and we appreciated being a bit removed from the busy tourist centre.

Located on the edge of town, the place works well as a quick stop, with a taxi to the airport taking about 40 minutes, longer during rush hour, and only a handful of parking spots out front. For a five‑star property I expected first‑rate service, but it was merely average.

I liked everything; it’s a very comfortable place, even pet‑friendly.
