It’s a children’s paradise, delightfully rustic rather than ultra‑hipster, the food is tasty and plentiful, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the location is wonderful. On the downside the breakfast didn’t start until 8 am – far too late for a family hotel – one of the five windows lacked a screen and flies were everywhere, there was no water pressure, you had to walk through the kids’ room to reach the adult bedroom, the doors slam loudly because they have no soft‑close, a compressor rattled loudly throughout the building, and there was no bar or lounge despite what the website promised.
