Even though the price was steep, the room was spacious and had a continuously running onsen that let me soak whenever I wanted, which was great. The directions from the room to the front desk, lounge and breakfast restaurant were confusing, so I kept walking past them and felt like I might get lost.

The private open‑air bath attached to the room was fantastic. However, the porch lights at night and early morning attracted a huge swarm of insects, making it hard to come and go.
