“Good, nice staff”
The location and the staff were good. The food, however, did not match the quality of Jetwing Blue, the neighboring hotel.

The staff at the pool area were friendly. The room was very spacious, the location excellent, and there is a huge pool.

We moved in last minute after problems with another hotel, and the staff were brilliant. The room was large and the bath was loved. We were unhappy with the initial ground‑floor room because it offered no privacy, but they swapped it without any hassle. The pool and sunbeds were lovely, and the deck was a great spot for sunsets. The check‑in process, however, takes a long time.

Staff were very friendly - always smiling and eager to assist. Reception staff, cleaning staff and pool staff all wonderful. I enjoyed a lovely, very filling breakfast whilst there, assisted by Pradeepa one of the waitresses. I also had an evening meal and tried the vegetarian Sri Lankan curry - many dishes and very tasty. I used the spa whilst there and had a firm massage which really helped pre-flight. My bedroom was on the top floor and was very spacious with a lovely view to the palm trees and beach beyond. It was rainy season so the beach was mostly empty- nice for walks though the sea was too rough to swim in this time of year. There are 2 swimming pools at the property - both good sizes. I found the main one was busier with families so managed my length swimming in the other pool. There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the main road by the hotel - good for any last minute souvenir shopping though I couldn't see a proper barista style coffee place. Luckily, the hotel has a fairly tasty cafetière coffee sachet in the room, along with a selection of teas. There was also a kettle and fridge - very handy. Also AC worked well in the room and, unlike other hotels I'd stayed in around Sri Lanka, there was a proper duvet which helped for a good night's sleep. Overall, a really lovely pre-flight hotel. Can't think of anything specific. Just be mindful when looking at prices in Sri Lanka that taxes are usually on top, this includes spa treatments. Though they still work out as really good value

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the view of the pool and beach was beautiful. The restaurant by the beach was nice, and the pool was very pleasant. Highly recommended.
