The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel sits in a fantastic, walkable area with plenty of great restaurants and just a two‑minute walk to the Capitole. The place is very clean, the room is spacious with a comfy bed, and breakfast offers a wide variety of good options. We’d definitely stay again! We didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

I booked a standard room with a window and flat ceiling, yet I was handed a sloped‑roof room with a huge dark wooden beam that felt cramped and oppressive, making me feel unwell the next morning. I asked the reception to switch rooms, but they said no standard rooms were free and the only option was a higher‑category room that would cost extra. They offered to move me there for just one night, leaving the other two nights in the original room. I explained that the sloping ceiling and massive beam made the space especially uncomfortable, and I thought a complimentary upgrade for one night would have been a reasonable gesture, especially since I needed proper rest before continuing my trip. The hotel’s response didn’t address my concerns, and I felt my issue wasn’t taken seriously. Future guests should confirm the exact room layout and ceiling type before booking, especially if they’re sensitive to small or sloping spaces.
