The Lifeboat Inn, a 16th-century property in Thornham, Norfolk, offers charming accommodations 2 minutes from the Norfolk Coast Path's marshes and sand dunes. This 3-star inn balances original character with modern comforts, including en-suite bedrooms with free toiletries and TVs. It's ideally located near Holkham Hall, Sandringham House, and Nelson's birthplace in Burnham Thorpe.

The coziness and location. Also the thoughtful doggie details

The room was lovely, the bed super comfy, it was quiet and cozy with the open fire, the staff were lovely, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was the most amazing—perfect! No complaints.

The place was all nice, just wish there was a comfy lounge area—otherwise nothing else to complain about.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with no signs of wear or tear, and the staff were very friendly. The location is ideal for reaching the north Norfolk coast. I’ve stayed here many times and will keep coming back, but the restaurant food is disappointing.
