“No es recomendable”
Nothing about the facilities. The location was very good. The room was small, poorly maintained, never cleaned, the chosen conditions were changed, there were no living spaces, no staff, etc.

I landed in a place called ‘An Invitation to a Journey’ and it turned out to be a literal trip back to the 18th century. The building itself dates from the 1700s, though it was updated about twenty years ago, and the original style is still intact. The room assigned to me was cramped and dim, just like the old houses that once lived there. Evening light was barely enough, a bathroom bulb was broken, the wall under the window was crumbling, and the ceiling had water stains. The most off‑putting thing was the strong mould smell that permeated the space; the yellowish towels in the bathroom carried the same odor, and I developed an allergic reaction almost immediately. The shower gel and shampoo came in large jars and were subpar. Breakfast was medieval: two croissants, a baguette, and a small pot of yoghurt. The price I paid didn’t match the experience, but the owner’s hospitality, the convenient location, and the available garage helped soften the blow. Still, the mouldy towels deserve criticism.

The accommodation was beautiful and the staff were warm and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, even for a small room. They provided useful tips and a map of the surroundings, which I highly recommend.

This small hotel sits in a very pretty historic building and is run by the owner. The private parking is very convenient when requested.
