We were greeted warmly, the room was big, fresh, and spotless, dinner was excellent, and the spot was lovely with a 3‑mile walk to the Bothy tearoom that served beautiful homemade soup, bread, and cakes; our dog felt welcomed, which made us feel welcome too, and breakfast offered great fresh options—definitely recommend this homely place. The only suggestion: replace the bedside lamps with warmer bulbs, as the cold bright white lights woke us up 😅.

The location was lovely, the welcome friendly, and the room was comfortable, clean, and had an ensuite; the hotel’s dog‑friendly policy might not suit everyone.

Irene is an amazing, welcoming lady—felt comfortable with our little dog in the hotel, and the food and scenery right on the doorstep are great; highly recommend.
