“Unclean”
I managed a 23‑hour drive over two days and only got two hours of sleep, checking in at 10 pm exhausted; the cheap price didn’t justify the mess—mold on the shower curtain, toenail clippings and dead bugs on the bathroom floor, and the rest of the hotel floor left my feet black; the bed sheets looked gross, so I slept on a towel and wrapped the area with more towels.
The air conditioning was decent, but the place terrified me—felt like a crack‑heads and prostitutes’ hangout with strong pot and marijuana odors everywhere.
“We couldn't even stay.”
We found no staff at all during check‑in, walked around looking for someone, and eventually had to cancel; another guest later told us we’d have to check into a different hotel—information that was never in my confirmation email. The property looked dirty and smelled bad, all public restrooms were closed with caution tape, and no employees answered the phone.
The staff were friendly.
“Loud”
The TV offered YouTube, which was great, yet there was nobody at the desk to check in or answer questions, and the noise from neighboring rooms was relentless until 2–3 am because the rooms share a door and no one intervened.
