The location is very good – a minute’s walk from San Pietro station, ten minutes from St. Peter’s Basilica, and thirty minutes to Trevi Fountain, with convenient bus connections. I didn’t like the lack of soundproofing – the room is on the first floor facing the street, with a single pane of glass, so everything is audible. The neighboring room, which shares a wall, had people at all hours of the day and night. They started talking, shouting at 2–3 a.m., and everything could be heard – from the tap in the bathroom to the morning shower songs of a guest. In front of the room is a shared kitchen, literally where you had to listen to people shouting at the door to eat at odd hours. I felt like the property turned one apartment into three separate rooms with a shared lounge, yet they let it out to complete strangers without addressing soundproofing or basic rules like no shouting or late‑night noise. I only managed to get more than two hours of uninterrupted sleep.
