The clean, welcoming location is strategically placed near Arezzo yet offers complete tranquility. I can’t think of anything to criticize; everything was flawless.

The pool was the only bright spot. I would never book this place again – it’s an old, smelly building that looks nothing like the pictures. The furniture is ancient, the breakfast is terrible for the price, and you have to ask for better options. There’s no internet because it’s in a rural area, no nearby restaurants, and the Wi‑Fi is either very weak or nonexistent. Mosquitoes were a nightmare and the creams we bought didn’t help. On the first day we had to eat leftovers from other guests; coffee had to be requested, and we only got a croissant, some stale bread with olive oil, and a few tomatoes. The owner spoke no English, making communication impossible. The main town was hard to reach, there was no privacy, and no evening activities. The initial accommodation had a shared bathroom and a two‑person bed for three of us, which was later changed to an apartment that had mold in the bathroom, old appliances in the kitchen, a dirty tray in the oven, and no microwave. The stairs were unsafe for children, and it felt like an old house turned into a hotel. I can’t understand the good reviews. I asked for a refund but couldn’t reach an agreement. The owner demanded cash for the city tax at the end – never again! The place is not worth the money, so don’t book. The clock and the singing rooster will wake you up several times early. We’ll also share this on social media so more people know.
