Intan Villa & Suite Ubud

A magnificent, clean, functional villa with an incredible pool over the rice fields. The location is very good for exploring the area. A nice walk around the rice fields nearby. Renting a scooter on site is essential to visit farther places. The staff were extremely kind and attentive.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is beautiful and located right next to the rice fields, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It is very quiet, away from the noise of the city, and the room was spotless and well maintained. The breakfast was simple but delicious, with banana pancakes, fresh fruit, and coffee – a great way to start the day. The only thing to note is that the accommodation is best reached by scooter, which might be a little inconvenient for some guests. However, this is also exactly what makes it so special, as its secluded location offers tranquility and an authentic Bali experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a relaxing getaway

The only positives were the location and the staff; everything else was a disaster. The hotel seemed non‑functional: the main pool was closed and filthy, which might explain why I was upgraded to a villa with a pool that was in terrible condition. There was no water in the kitchen or bathroom; after several requests, water appeared but only cold for two days. The walls were in awful condition, the bed linen was dirty, and the villa’s entrance was through another unfinished villa. Because of all this, I had to leave on the second day and book another hotel. I asked for a refund for the remaining five nights, but the hotel gave me nothing. I had to pay again for a normal stay elsewhere. It used to be a nice hotel, but now it isn’t; the only good things are the location, the view, and the staff, but that isn’t enough when there’s no hot water and the conditions are bad.

“Pésima”

The only good thing was that the pool loungers were old. Everything else was terrible: burnt, broken mosquito nets, a room full of bugs, outlets covered in insects, a bed infested with bugs, a broken bathtub, everything was old and needed renovation. The fridge was empty because it was far away, and there was no car access.

An absolutely spectacular hotel, surrounded by nature with incredible views of the rice paddies. Waking up every morning to that landscape in Ubud, Bali, is a unique and very relaxing experience. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and perfectly integrated with the surroundings. The whole place exudes peace and harmony. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is ideal for complete rest and disconnection. Without a doubt, a place I would return to a thousand times.
