The place was calm and clean, but the check‑out was at 10 am on a Sunday, which felt very early even though it was listed in the terms.
The reception was unpleasant; we arrived early and were literally kicked out, even though the sign said check‑in starts at 17 h. We expected to wait in the common areas and use the pool after our 12‑hour drive, but that was denied and the staff spoke to us rudely, scolding us for arriving too soon. Given the nightly rate, it’s disappointing that the pool is only available from 17 h and that check‑out is forced at 10 h the next day. The place itself is charming and has potential, but the staff’s attitude made the experience very disappointing.

The room was very clean and well equipped, but the train passing nearby can be heard.
We enjoyed scenic walks along the canal to Béziers and explored several historic towns nearby; the property itself offered everything we needed, especially the lovely pool area.
We stayed in the cottage, a beautiful three‑storey building with excellent beds and a lovely private terrace.
