“Disappointing”
The décor is nice. The stay was extremely disappointing. We booked and paid a large sum for two nights for our whole family, expecting to enjoy the advertised facilities and amenities. Only the next morning did we find out that both main pools were closed, the kids’ club was closed, and two restaurants were also closed. The only pool available was the beach one, and it was extremely dirty, with visible debris floating in the water. It honestly looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. What makes this even more frustrating is that we were never informed beforehand that so many of the hotel’s main facilities would be unavailable. We discovered this only after arriving, as a complete surprise. For the amount of money we paid, we would have been much better off staying at an all‑inclusive resort in Cancun, where we could have received significantly more value, amenities, and services. On top of everything, the food was not good and definitely did not justify the high price charged. Overall, we feel that the experience was absolutely not worth the money. Had we known in advance that so many facilities would be closed, we would never have chosen to stay here.
